Back in the Dynamo Groove

Woonsocket, RI - Huge news shocked the RIMSEHL on Wednesday afternoon just before Team Dynamo took the ice for their sixth and post season defining match up. Long time Team Dynamo netminder and RIMSEHL veteran Mark Senerchia submitted his resignation to team liaison Shane Farrell. There is no further comment from league or team officials regarding the details surrounding Senerchia's retirement, but it is anticipated that his number will be retired once the dust from the 2013 season settles.

Fresh off the surprising news, Team Dynamo mustered up the strength to take on a formidable opponent in the Baboons, in what many believed to be the end of the line for the Blues should they surrender the W. Alas, Blue Army faithful should've slept well that stormy Wednesday night, for Team Dynamo, in dramatic fashion, closed out a nail biter, 7 - 5.

In what was perhaps a turning point for Team Dynamo the night before, the boys took to the ice on Thursday evening, in this season's rematch against the Woonsocket Womba...er Rockets. With new confidence and a fresh lease on life, the Blues were not to be pushed around again, dominating from the drop of the puck. The final buzzer left the Dynamos with 10 and the Rockets with 4.

And, just like that, as fast as Team Dynamo dropped to the cellar of the RIMSEHL, they've risen like a phoenix from the ashes of it's predecessor, right into playoff contention. Dynamo sports an uncomfortable grip on the 4th spot of the regular season RIMSEHL ladder, with three games remaining.

Team Dynamo faces off against the bottom feeder Five Guys squad this coming Wednesday, and hits the ice again on Thursday for a sure-to-be tight one against long time league rival Plante's Auto.

A late season winning streak could be on the horizon for Team Dynamo
