Team Dynamo Adds to Its Spoils

Route 146, RI - Team Dynamo spent the first weeks of September 2012 celebrating their first championship in three seasons. Members of the Blue rode duck boats through the downtown streets of Woonsocket, retreated to their summer cabins and found time to tour nearby elementary schools showcasing their recently acquired and highly coveted Belisle Cup.

However, it wasn't long before a skeleton crew of the Dynamo Pride were back at work in the winter version of the RIMSEHL, looking to put a second ring on their fingers within a year. Surely enough, the long and cold winter months proved not so long and not so cold, as Team Dynamo sealed the deal in dramatic fashion.

RIMSEHL Team Dynamo mainstays Dave Farrell, Craig Houle, Shane Farrell, Mark Senerchia, Erik Noack, and Ryan Baynes were crucial in procuring the back-to-back Rhode Island titles, and true to form, remain focused on the task at hand. "I'll probably go to work, and definitely hit the Spring Fling at Babson, but I'm definitely looking forward to July," commented Baynes. The message from GM and Player/Coach Dave Farrell was slightly more subdued, "just relax," he told the team, "business as usual." Truly humbled, the glue-that-holds-it-all-together Farrell cautiously continued, "this summer is shaping up nicely, but only time will tell."

Defenseman Erik Noack added, "Obviously it's great to have some success recently, but we've been around long enough to know the drill. If we want the moniker Dynamo Dynasty to ring true in the folklore of Rhode Island Men's League Hockey, we've got to maintain this attitude over time, on the ice, in the parking lot, and at a few, high class clubs. We've got a task at hand, and in 2 months and 23 days we plan on taking care of business."

And so, much to the anticipation and delight of the Dynamo players and their numerous faithful, it looks to be an exciting upcoming summer season, where the Blues will look to replicate their success of late.
